Interlakokraska 2025 brings together professionals of the paint and coating industry

The 29th edition of the International Exhibition for Paints and Coatings – Interlakokraska 2025 – has opened at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. This key event in the Russian paint and coating industry is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chemists Union, and the Soyuzkraska Association, under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Interlakokraska 2025 brings together leading manufacturers, suppliers and technology developers in the field of paints and coatings (paintwork materials). More than 340 companies from 9 countries (Belarus, China, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Korea, Turkiye, and Uzbekistan) take part in the exhibition on the area of more than 13,000 square metres.

The Interlakokraska conference programme opened with the Plenary Session on the Paint and Coating Industry in the Context of New National Projects. The moderator was Alina Rybina, Advisor at the Russian Chemists Union.

Mikhail Yurin, Russian Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, made a presentation of the New Materials and Chemistry National Project: Raw Materials Supply for Advanced Paint and Coatings Production.

Valery Abramov, Chair at the Board of the Soyuzkraska Association and Director of Russian Paints, spoke about the current development stage of the paint and coating industry. The results of the industry in 2024 and market trends for 2024/2025 were the topics of Olga Sinitsina, Senior Expert Analyst at CREON Group. Alexey Knyazev, Director at the Engineering Chemical Technology Centre, spoke about current approaches to the Chemical Industry Development Strategy. Vyacheslav Savinov, Executive Director at the Russian Chemists Union, emphasised the role of the industry community in the development of the paint and coating industry.

The plenary session continued with thematic blocks on raw materials supply for paint and coating production, personnel for paint and coating production, and the view of consuming industries on the prospects of the paint and coating market.

Interlakokraska 2025 is open at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds until 21 March.
