The 27th edition of the International Exhibition for Paints and Coatings, Interlakokraska 2023, is a key event in the industry of paints and coating production in Russia.
For more than a quarter of a century, Interlakokraska has become the main trade show and congress event for the paint and coating industry in this country.
In light of current events, Interlakokraska 2023 is particularly relevant as a tool for searching for new solutions. Participation and attendance at the show will give Russian companies a great opportunity to strengthen their position, expand their product range and find new partners and markets.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a rich conference programme, which will focus on the most important and relevant issues in the paint and coating industry.
One of the most important events will be the Panel on the New Realities of the Coatings Market, organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the Centrlack Association and the Quality Paint Association, and with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The panel participants will discuss the competitiveness of Russian coating production in the context of structural changes in the market such as the departure of foreign companies and the emergence of new suppliers of raw materials and finished paints and coatings from Asian countries. The discussion will focus on the changing requirements of domestic consumers of paints and coatings, quality assurance in the transition to alternative raw materials, as well as tariff and non-tariff instruments for regulating the national market.
The International Coatings Forum 2023 will provide an opportunity to get an expert assessment of trends in the development of the coatings and raw materials market, as well as learn about new products and promising technologies. The event is organised by the Russian Coatings Journal and EXPOCENTRE AO. The industry outlook and new solutions for the raw materials market are among key topics of the forum. The participants will summarise the industry's performance in 2022, discuss Russia's import substitution programme, new supply chains in 2023, and other important issues.
The Panel discussion on Staffing and Qualifications in the Paint and Coatings Industry. Problem Areas will cover the issues of training highly qualified specialists in the field of coatings and coating technologies. The event is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO in partnership with the Russian Chemists Union, the Centrlack Association, and Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.
The participants of the Panel on the Russia-Turkiye Cooperation in the Coatings Industry will discuss trade in coatings, raw materials and equipment between the two countries, as well as the prospects for mutual investment in the coatings industry.
New promising projects by the Interlakokraska exhibitors will be presented at the Conference on Innovations in Corrosion Protection and Surface Treatment and Workshops on Advanced Laboratory Equipment for Successful Coating Production, on the New Styrene-Acrylic Dispersions Acromol Made by Plastic AO, on Equipment for Production of Paints and Coatings, on Professional Pretreatment of Metal Before Coating, and on Defectoscopy of Paints and Coatings. Electrical Discharge Method for Control of Integrity of Dielectric Coatings.
In addition, the conference programme will include the signing of an agreement to merge Russia's two largest paint and coating associations – the Centrlack Association and the Quality Paint Association.
